July 27th and 28th will see many of the adult industry’s leading suppliers setting up shop in the National Exhibition Centre, Birmingham, for the UK’s only dedicated trade event, the ETO Show.
Now in its fourth year, the annual ETO Show brings together every major adult goods distributor, together with a wide variety of specialist suppliers, under one roof over two days.
Just about every product category you can think of will be represented at the show, from erotic books to electro stimulation kits – from the mildly shocking to the literally shocking, you could say - and anyone looking for new and/or alternative suppliers for adult goods will not get another opportunity this year, without flying out of the country, to see so many in one place at one time – over 60, at the time of writing. And while most exhibitors are from the UK, there will be a number of overseas suppliers offering unique lines, many of them choosing the ETO Show to make their only visit to the UK this year.
The ETO Show is held in The Pavilion, at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), just off the M42 in the Midlands, on Sunday 27th and Monday 28th July. Opening hours are 10.30am – 5.00pm on the Sunday and 10.30pm – 4.30pm on the Monday.
If you have not pre-registered for the event, please still come along. Bring proof-of-trade status, such as a business card or letterhead, and an entry badge will be printed for you at reception. There is no charge for admittance.
TRAVELLING:
The NEC has probably the best access of any exhibition centre in the UK and visitors have several travel options:
By road: Birmingham is at the hub of the UK motorway network, enabling visitors to travel directly from the M6, M1, M40 and M42. The NEC is located off Junction 6 of the M42 and it has its own on-site car parking for 22,000 vehicles. Please note that there is a charge, levied by the NEC, for parking.
By rail: The NEC is served by Birmingham International station, connected by a covered bridgelink. London is only 90 minutes away and trains also run direct to many regional towns and cities. Wherever you're coming from, the easy way to get to the NEC is by rail as the NEC has its own station; Birmingham International is linked directly to The NEC by a covered walkway - you don't even have to go outside. Please note that if you are coming by rail on the Sunday, check train times first as we are advised that engineering works are being carried out on the tracks. For timetable information contact National Rail enquiries on 08457 484950.
By air: More than 20 international airlines serve Birmingham International Airport, which is conveniently situated a few minutes from the NEC. Together they provide scheduled flights from 34 destinations in the UK, Europe and North America. The NEC is also easily accessible from London Heathrow, London Gatwick and other regional airports. The new AirRail Link provides a direct rail link from Birmingham International Airport to The NEC. To check availability of flights call 0870 733 5511.
